Fire curtains
A fire curtain or operated textile curtain (operable fabric curtain) is a door according to EN 16034. It is a door with a door sheet made of woven material or combined with other materials to form one or more fire compartments. The curtain structure includes a handle and/or guides that essentially act like a roulouse. The area of use of fire curtains is very broad, but mostly used in different buildings such as:
- shopping centres and office buildings;
- production buildings and warehouses;
- parking facilities and technical premises;
- public buildings and health facilities.
Approval of safety report

According to the Chemicals Act, the safety report is a mandatory document for enterprises with major hazard category A. The report shall include a risk assessment.
Requirements for the company safety report are set out in the Minister of Economic Affairs and infrastructure02.02.2016. a Regulation No 18 'requirements for mandatory documents of enterprises with dangerous and major hazards and their preparation and information to the public and notification of accidents1'in § 4.
The undertaking shall submit the safety report for approval to the Consumer Protection and Technical regulatory Authority, who shall submit it to the Rescue Board. The Consumer Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet shall approve the safety report in cooperation with the Rescue Board. The analysis shall be coordinated with the inspector of the Safety Oversight Bureau of the Rescue Board.

Operational map

An operational card means the obligation of a person to prepare an operational card for a building in his or her possession. An operational map is a compact view of the technical data of the construction work, fire safety installations located in the construction work and other important information which is helpful to the rescue team in resolving the event. The possessor of the construction works has the obligation to submit an operational card. If there are several possessors, the owner of the construction work shall appoint a person responsible for the preparation and submission of the operational map who shall prepare and submit an operational map for the building to the regional rescue centre. The regional rescue centre of the transmitted operational map shall review and, if necessary, contact the person submitting the operational map. If the operational map is in order, the regional rescue centre shall coordinate the operational map.

Risk assessment of enterprise with major hazard

According to the Chemicals Act, risk analysis is a mandatory document of a company with a major hazard and a dangerous enterprise. In the case of an enterprise with a major hazard category A, the risk assessment shall form part of the safety report.

Fire and evacuation exercise
