Fire and evacuation exercise

90.00

Fire response and evacuation exercises provide participants with practical skills that can be applied immediately and have received a lot of positive feedback from customers. Training based on a plan to operate in the event of a fire and where the knowledge described is practically usable is assessed and necessary to ensure safety.

Fire Safety Actsubsection 6 (3) obliges the owner who is required to submit a fire safety report and organise a fire safety inspection to organise an evacuation exercise and an exercise in action in the event of fire once a year. Within the framework of the exercise on evacuation and operation in the event of fire:

  • Simulate a real fire;
  • Practices are being practised to help cope with the threat.

In case of questions and problems, our fire safety specialists and experts will provide advice.

The price of the service includes 1 hour consultation and further activity is mapped and priced according to the actual work volume.

Description

The organisation of the fire drill is broadly divided into four parts:

1. Requirements for fire exercises

The purpose of the fire exercise is to ensure the knowledge and skills to operate in the event of evacuation and fire and to assess the suitability of the plan and the skills of employees to behave adequately. The exercise must be carried out at least once a year and it is the responsibility of the driver to organise it. If the building is used by several institutions or companies, a joint exercise will be carried out, but theory training may differ if the uses or risks of the building parts differ.

2. Legend and participation of fire exercises

A legend with a fire scenario will be prepared for the exercise. The location, extent and part of the plan to be rehearsed shall be determined. All staff will attend, but if no one can attend, a rerun or personal tutoring will be carried out. If a rescue centre or alarm centre is involved, the exercise must be approved in advance.

3. Organisation of fire exercises

The exercise consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical section includes fire safety guidance according to the risk locations and the plan for action in the event of a fire. In practical terms, the situation of the fire is simulated and practical evacuation or possible rescue activities and use of fire safety installations are practiced.

4. Written summary of the fire exercise

A written summary of the exercise shall be prepared within one month, which shall cover factual information, facts established, achievement of objectives and proposals. The summary reflects the shortcomings of the plan and the measures taken to address them. The document shall be kept for five years and communicated to the staff within one month.
